Features

This instrument contains five interchangeable

chestpieces — both adult and pediatric diaphragms,

as well as three interchangeable bells ( /4", 1", and

1 /8") — to facilitate the detection of high, medium,

and low frequency sounds. Each diaphragm or bell,

illustrated and described on the next page, has a

specific purpose.

The high sensitivities of all these combinations will

enable the user to clearly discern low frequencies,

high frequencies, and the faintest murmurs.

Intended Use

The stethoscope is intended to facilitate the ability to

hear internal sounds.
